Out of the Fire: Metalworkers along the Salish Sea is a stunning art book published by Heritage House featuring 24 west coast artists and craftspeople who work with metal.
Hear behind-the-scene stories from Pirjo and photographer Dale Roth about creating the book, and how it differed from Out of the Woods: Woodworkers along the Salish Sea, published in 2018.
Audience members may remember the beautiful woodwork Bolen Books had on display when Pirjo Raits visited in 2018 to discuss Out of the Woods, and this time you can expect striking metalwork on display to make this an event to remember!
