Redl is the co-producer of “A Woman I Know: Canadian Literature by Women,” an eight-part series of programs for ACCESS, the Education Channel. She has lived on Vancouver Island on the unceded territories of the coast Salish people since 2001.

NANCY RANDALL is photographer and artist, whose work focuses on the wonders of the Salish Sea region. She chaired the boards of civic art galleries in Kamloops and Nanaimo and is the founding director of the Vancouver Island University Teaching and Learning Centre, where she was also a faculty member. Since retiring she thoroughly enjoyed seven years as a marriage commissioner, conducting more than 200 wedding ceremonies. Nancy also taught courses on Salish Sea flora and fauna through VIU’s ElderCollege program.

LINDA FULLALOVE is a retired elementary school teacher. Since moving to the island in 2009, she has enjoyed hiking and exploring the Island’s beautiful forests and beaches. She continues to learn about the region’s complex ecosystems and is passionate about preserving the natural beauty of the islands.

NANCI LANGFORD is a retired academic who moved to Oceanside seven years ago. She’s recently been involved with re-settling a Ukrainian family in Qualicum Beach and teaching ESL. Her most recent book, co-edited, is Compelled to Act: Histories of Women's Activism in Western Canada.
