John Crouch is a lifelong cycler. His new book, Cycling Vancouver Island (RMB | Rocky Mountain Books), is his sixth title about exploring the outdoors on foot and two wheels. Cycling Vancouver Island features 40+ routes, each trip includes a map, information on local history, topography, aesthetics, places of interest, type of road, general route condition, level of difficulty, start and end points, checkpoints and colour photographs.

Briony Penn is an award-winning writer of creative non-fiction books. She has been a feature writer and columnist for decades, with more than 500 articles, as well as a contributor to many anthologies and chapter books. Her most recent book is Following the Good River: Stories from the Magic Canoe of Cecil Paul (RMB | Rocky Mountain Books, 2019).
