<b>Megan Carey</b> is an author writing from the traditional shared territory of the Stó:lō people also known as the Fraser Valley, BC. She is the mother of two young children who inspire her daily with their wonder and curiosity of the natural world around them. She hopes her words will inspire readers to seek moments of wonder and magic too. A Perfect Word to Gift the Moon is Megan's debut children's book. She is grateful to work with the whimsically talented artist Kat Cearns to illustrate her stories.
