David Giblin’s stint as a seasonal salmon fishing guide in the 1980s has provided fodder for dozens of stories that combine the quaintness of small-town maritime life with the comedic possibilities of a local tourist industry. The humourous, fantastical, and bizarre finale to the interconnected Chronicles of a West Coast Fishing Guide series is swimming onto shelves this fall!

David will do a reading and signing, tell stories related to the artwork on display, and share the adventures that created the series, including Codfish Dream and Ghillie the Gillie. There will also be a raffle and door prize with proceeds going towards the Maritime Centre.

Tickets sold at the door ($5)

Books will be available for purchase at the venue.
