This is a worldwide reading list that helps publishers, librarians, and institutions to "discover and share books written for young readers in Indigenous and endangered languages." The list was revealed on August 6th at the 40th IBBY World Congress in Ottawa, and will be displayed as part of the Frankfurt Book Fair October 2026 and the Bologna Children's Book Fair April 2027.

kā-āciwīkicik / The Move is a bilingual English/Cree picture book rooted in the historical displacement and relocation of members of the Chemawawin First Nation, where two Cree Elders adjust to life in their new environment.
